We have a new pastor...
Pastor Steve Smith retired from the Virginia Beach Police Department, in December of 2011, to go into full-time ministry. His last position was as the Commanding Officer of the 3rd Police Precinct. Steve served with the police department since 1979.
Steve graduated with a Master’s Degree in Religion in 2003 and a Master’s in Divinity in 2010 from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Steve was ordained by Suburban Christian Church in Virginia Beach. Beginning his ministry career as a pastor of evangelism and men’s ministry, Steve founded Brother Builders Men’s Ministry.
Steve and Cathy have been married for 30 years and they have three adult children and a son-in-law.
